Electron Electronics is returning to ES Live following a successful show in 2013 and this year, the Surrey based distributor will be celebrating its 30th birthday. Commenting on this achievement, Noel Humphrey says the secret of the company’s success has been the long term working relationships with customers, some whom have been with Electron for over 25 years.
Noel commented. “Electron Electronics is able to offer a very high level of personal service, including out of office hours contact. This has proved popular with a number of small OEMs, which are often so busy during normal hours that they simply run out of time.
“We know from talking with our customers that we have become their purchasing department. They regard us as an extension of their business and can talk with us about a range of supply chain issues where we have been able to provide good and honest advice.”
At this year’s show, Electron will be launching its new responsive website. Having had an online presence since 2000, Electron is developing its e-commerce website to accommodate the growing number of customers using mobile devices, including tablets, to access the web and make purchases. Electron believes that now is the time to enhance the user experience for all users, regardless of the device used.
Extended line card
The Electron line card now extends to over 90 manufacturers and it will be showcasing products from a range of manufacturers including Antex, CEP, Cliff, Clynder, Eagle, Iskra, JB Capacitors, Kingbright, Kingtronics, Mega, Royal Ohm and Warton Metals. The recently launched hot air rework station from antex will be on show, along with the redesigned digital soldering station and a range of solder products from Warton Metals.
Noel concluded “By working with our customers, we win business and have achieved significant growth in sales over the last three years, despite the current economic climate.”
As a company claiming to offer a high level of service, Electron delivers products from stock in a UK warehouse, with next day delivery as standard, batch traceability, flexible stocking arrangements, no minimum order value or quantities. and great pricing. Buyers looking for a supplier who delivers on these promises are invited to stop by stand ES100 to find out more.
